Considered one of the most emblematic sneakers of the 90's, the Nike Air More Uptempo is making a big comeback in 2016, with the black and white OG pair already released in select stores. Back in 1996, Scottie Pippen wore these in the Bull's record breaking season that ultimately brought them the championship. Even if Scottie was known for mainly wearing the Flight shoes on the court, he'll be forever linked to the Nike Air More Uptempo due to this memorable run.
For the first 2016 version Nike keeps the original silhouette and colors with an upper nubuck and bold lettering all over. The Air Max unit is visible thought the midsole with a signature design. The Nike Air More Uptempo is scheduled to have more appearances this year, with at least another pair in white and red in the works. We can only be excited of what's about to come.
