The fraternity is dedicated to its Cardinal Principles of manhood, scholarship, perseverance and uplift.

The aforementioned University Gold are mainly found on the toe, heel sections and outsole. While the shade of Purple is utilised on the branding elements such as the Swoosh, Air Jordan Wings logo and the tongue label text. The shoe is completed with pure white midsoles commonly found on other J1s.
