Nike Dunk Low is one of the most sought for classics from the Swoosh brand decades after its initial release. It was first introduced in 1985 as a basketball shoe in its hi top version mainly advertised for college teams which made it available in a large array of colorways. The original edition of the shoe was designed by Peter Moore who drew inspiration from the Air Jordan 1 that was only introduced a few years prior. In 2000 after Nike introduced the SB line advertised to skateboarders the Dunk suffered some modifications in terms of cushioning and support to make it more suitable for this niche. Some special editions of the shoe that followed hyped the style more and more and become what is today, one of the most celebrated retro sneakers on the market. Nowadays the Nike Dunk Low is considered a defining lifestyle sneaker for any sneakerhead. Made of several layers of perforated leather upper with rubber outsole, this is a sneaker made to last.
