The Air Jordan 11 was released for the first time in 1995, Tinker Hatfield being the designer once again. They were first worn by Micheal Jordan in the 1995 play-offs when Bulls played Orlando Magic. MJ got for wearing a colorway that was not up to NBA uniform standards but, as it happened before, it only made them more popular .They retailed for $125 later that fall, being the most anticipated release of the year. In 1996 they appeared in the “Space Jam” movie where the black and concord blue version was featured. That same version was the first retroed Air Jordan 11 sneaker in 2000. Its signature design element is the patented leather that goes all around from heel to toebox, giving it an unique look, one that made many wore these even with a suit. Some of the most popular versions are the Concord, Columbia, Cool Grey and Space Jam. The Air Jordan 11 is one of the most iconic sneakers of all time.
