Under Armour continue their quest on the footwear market with the release in 2017 of the new Under Armour Threadborne Shift lifestyle sneaker. This new shoe features a mix of mesh and suede upper that makes up for an interesting design. The brand listened to fans who disliked the oversized UA logo on the recent lifestyle sneakers and dropped it all together. It seems to be an inspired move, both in term of style and making a distinction from their well-known trainers specifically made for specific sports.
While the mesh upper with suede side panels are elements that we've seen at other brands, the support bands in the forefoot and heel makes the Under Armour Threadborne Shift unique in its way. The perforations in the side panels make them quite breathable while the sock-like ankle collar adds to the overall comfort. The midsolesole is made of FlexFit foam and the outsole from rubber, offering moderate support. These run large, so if you normally wear a 12, you may want to get a 11.5 .
They were originally introduced on April 27th 2017 and, per popular request, just made a return for the summer season. There are four colors available at the retailers shown below with a $95 price tag. Check out the links to see more photos and purchase options.
