Adidas have long been a champion in supporting the LGBTQ community, having a new collection of adidas Pride shoes released each year just before the summer begins. The brand joined in this regards brands like Nike, Vans and Converse that come up with a similar lineup to celebrate Pride month in June. A big part of the profits is being donated to the LGBTQ community to support their continued fight for equal rights across the globe. The rainbow colors have been featured on many of adidas popular styles and each year the brand finds new ways to implement them. A constant appearance over the years has been the adidas Superstar, with memorable special editions such as the 2016 with rainbow splash colors  or the 2020 edition featuring oversized rainbow trefoil side logo.

Along with the adidas Pride Shoes collection released each year the brand also release various apparel and accessories items that go well with the sneakers.

2020

The 2020 lineup for the adidas Pride shoes collection features eight pairs with the adidas Superstar and the adidas NMD R1 taking the spotlight. A pair of ULTRABOOST , a Nite Jogger, a Stan Smith, two versions of the Carrera and a Adilette Slide complete the pack. Each pair implements the rainbow in a different way with some more striking than others. The adidas NMD R1 Pride falls in line with the latest editions of the style, with the the BOOST midsole coming up in different color blocks. The adidas Superstar comes up with an oversized multi color trefoil logo while the Nite Jogger outlines its upper design with the bright rainbow colors. The collection is in line with what we’ve seen in the previous years, with a mix classic and modern sneakers.
