With March 17th on the horizon it’s time to gear up for St Patrick’s Day and get some matching shoes with that green attire! For the past several years sneaker brands have been coming up with some special editions of their models for this holiday, much like they do with BHM, Pride month or even Halloween lately. Nike, New Balance, Adidas and Under Armour are a few of these brands that celebrated this day over the years. Whether it is shamrocks, leprechauns or just in general color green , all these look great to customize the well known sneakers people love already.

In 2023 there are few choices for those looking for St Patrick’s Day shoes to celebrate, coming from Brooks, Nike and Saucony.

Brooks became one of the new players in this category in 2018 when they came up with the Launch 5 in their “Run Lucky” limited series. Since then they brought more models every year, with the Ghost 14 and 15 being the most recent. In 2023 the Brooks Ghost 15 features a shamrock pattern upper with the Irish flag on the tongue and laces. It does not get any more Irish than that for sure, this is one of our favorites for sure this year.

For a more discrete look Nike is bringing a new colorway of the Nike Blazer 77 that matches the St Patrick holiday colors. The leather upper is all white with green Swooshes and while there is no official release day on these we expect to drop sometimes in March.

Another brand that has been celebrating this holiday in the past is Saucony which has the largest offer in 2023 for St Patrick Day shoes. The Shamrock series features three of its classics plus a modern runner with the Shadow 5000, 6000, the Jazz 81 and the Freedom 5 Snake, all dressed up in green, white and orange. And to make things clear the brand added a Shamrock logo on each of these tongues and patterns to match in the interior of the shoes.

Whether you’re into this holiday or not, these St Patrick’s Day shoes are surely a nice spin of the original models, some that many will wear throughout the year to show their heritage of just because they love green kicks.
