Nike Kyrie 2 is the second edition of Kyrie Irving’s signature shoe. It was first introduced in December 2015, a year after the collaboration began with Kyrie 1. As with the first edition, the Nike Kyrie 2 is designed by Leo Chang, the one who created the KD line. The sneaker features Hyperfuse construction for enhanced stability, being one of the very few signature basketball shoes not to use Flywire technology. For this second iteration Nike added a cross strap to the upper construction. The midsole features Air Zoom technology in the forefoot while the outsole is built with an enhanced traction pattern made of rubber. The shoe retails for $120, being one of the most inexpensive signature shoes. Nike Kyrie 2 also features a “K” logo on the tongue as well as the swoosh on the sole.  With Kyrie Irving’s career on the rise Nike is surely up for many more editions for this series.
